SCHOOL HOLIDAY SURFING LESSONS

All sessions are held at the beautiful Currumbin Alley which is well known as a safe location for learning to surf.  The Alley is a sand bottom point break, where rocks keep the structure of the point solid.  The point provides us with a great area for varying abilities to surf.  We can stay in nice and close if you are just learning, and not to sure of the ocean.  Or we can go surf ‘out the back’ and catch some unbroken waves if you are at that level.

Surfing Lessons include the use of:

  • special soft surfboards
  • lycra shirts
  • sunscreen
  • wax
  • wetsuits if required

Please just bring swimmers/board shorts, beach towel, and water. Prizes & Certificates presented at the end of program.

The Coaches

All coaches are either Level 1 and/or Level 2 Surfing Australia certified coaches, holding first aid, blue cards and bronze medallion/surf rescue. The Gold Coast City Council lifeguards operate at Currumbin Alley so it’s an extremely well patrolled beach, perfect for learning to surf.  Read the coaches profiles!

Group Lesson Prices

  • Learn to Surf Group Lessons - under 15 years $25 and everyone else $35aguirre-and-samba-09
  • Intermediate Groups - $25
  • High Performance Groups - $25
  • School Groups - vary depending on numbers and duration and activity program

Private Lesson Prices

  • 1 person = $100
  • 2 people = $120 ($60 each)
  • 3 people = $150 ($50 each)
  • 4 people = $160 ($40 each)
  • 5 people = $200 ($40 each)

Discounts for multiple private bookings, private groups, birthday parties & corporate, prices based on number of participants, duration and activity program.

HOT TIP!

We have plenty of sunscreen for you, but it is always best to apply sunscreen approximately 20minutes before sun exposure. This allows the sunscreen to soak into your skin enabling it to work more effectively. You are more than welcome to reapply with our sunscreen before the start of the lesson.
